Hello, 3F!

Mr Cheese is here again to remind you of the lesson on Prepositions that we went through on Tuesday.

So, what do the prepositions in the video tell you about Mr Cheese?

Yes, his position! :)

Many of you were able to get all or most of the answers for the game on "Where are the things in my room?" That means you are rather proficient in using prepositions of position. Well done!

Can you recall what other information prepositions give? (Hint: Refer to your Grammar Book Pg 92 and 93).

This chart that we have drawn in class will guide you in the use of prepositions of time:

On top of all the above, we also learnt about prepositions with adjectives, verbs and nouns.

This was the game that we played in class: http://www.eslgamesworld.com/members/games/grammar/fling%20the%20teacher/noun%20adjectives%20+%20prepositions/noun%20adjectives%20+%20preposition.html

You may click into the website to answer the remaining questions and practise using prepositions with adjectives and nouns. Have fun flinging the "teacher" away!

- Miss Lim

P.S. If you have not submitted your homework to me, this is a final reminder: Please complete Grammar Book Pg 94, 95, 98 and 99.

Hari Raya and National Day celebrations

It has been an exciting week. On Tuesday, we celebrated Hari Raya. The performances put up by everyone were awesome! There were singing, dancing and Chapteh Competition for teachers round 1.

Just three days after that, on Friday, we had our National Day celebration. There were singing, performances put up by different classes, acting by Drama Club and the second round of Chapteh Competition for teachers.

Many of you enjoyed yourselves tremendously and were engrossed in the performances. Here are some videos and photos taken on both occasions.

Have an amazing weekend! Remember to do your homework as well!

Verbs in past tense

Hi again! :)

These are the videos that we watched together on Wednesday:

Do you still remember what we have learnt?

(We add -d, -ed or -ied to most regular verbs to form the past tense. E.g. baked, played and carried)

Can you think of some examples of irregular verbs and how to write them in past tense?

- Miss Lim

"I like cookies, cupcakes and cucumbers."

Hello, 3F! :)

I am glad many of you enjoyed watching this video on punctuation.

I hope all of you remember when full stop, comma, question mark, exclamation mark and quotation marks should be used. Remember to use them when writing your composition in future! :)

Now, you can play and re-play this as many times as you wish to!
